I want to share this recording of this week’s Singers Key Notes webinar with you. The ‘conversation’ took many twists and turns keeping things very interesting. We talked about the issue of placing the voice, which many voice teachers ask their students to do.

A student of mine actually told me that his last voice teacher told him to place the sound in his left eye! Try it and you’ll see what I mean. In my experience with my own singing and with my students’, placement of the voice has never done anything but add tension.
