People are always asking me why I call my vocal method Sing Like You Speak. And of course, does it really work? Yes, it can make a star out of anyone who has the drive to be a singing star.
This is NOT traditional vocal training. Sing Like You Speak™ is vocal technique for contemporary singers based in the latest medical, musical and therapeutic research. It is NOT Speech Level Singing. It’s much more practical and based on the fact that the human instrument is the most perfect of all instruments. Your job is to be real with what you are communicating and to let the voice work naturally.

I’m very pleased to see leaders in the singing field stressing efforts to deliver the meaning (emotions) of the song.
This easily gets lost with singers focusing on their particular style, or sound tricks, rather than on the message of the song.
I often ask, “Where is THE SONG”

Hi Raymond,
Thank you for your positive comment. A singer who makes ‘pretty music’ and does not communicate is just making sound. A singer who says the words clearly from his gut – now that singer I want to listen to and follow. That’s our job as singers – to communicate.
