Sally – what your doing is a really cool way to make a living at what you do, but watching the young man in the teaching video made me feel like a REALLY OLD DUDE! LoLYRICALLY! What I mean is, since junior high-school (a LONG time ago – channel “In My Room” by the Beach Boys!), I would just sing along with records and let my bass player bully me into taking 9th-grade chorus! Maybe the young people in your classes want to take a “short cut” to being a vocalist in a … ROCK(?) … band but, either way, I commend you for a way to make a living out of – in MY subjective opinion – their not-quite-sincere-to-me passion for performing meaningful music.
