An innovator in the field of vocal training for the past 25 years – from inside the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School in NYC to Brazil – Sally has contributed to the accessibility of the vocal arts to all who seek her help: from actors to singers to business execs to those who just want to sing and speak like a professional in their everyday lives.

Sally’s expertise and casual, delightful personality make her a sought after speaker and workshop leader who fascinates her audiences and challenges them to become vocally empowered and professionally polished. She is a frequent presenter at national theater and voice trainer associations such as American Theater in Higher Education, Voice And Speech Teachers Association, Music Theater Educators Alliance, the Voice Foundation, NY Singing Teachers Association and Nashville Songwriters Association International.

But I didn’t always have these credentials. Every master begins as a disaster and I am no exception to that rule. I came out of the womb singing, loving music – the one thing that made me feel most alive.

I always had a ‘good voice’ but was not the best singer. My family was baffled by my powerful desire to make music. They didn’t understand my natural talents. So I grew up thinking there was something wrong about my passion for music. I received messages from my parents like: you’ll never make a living; you’re really not any good at music – your brother’s the talented one; you can’t possibly know a song by heart – play it safe and use the music.

Those messages became synonymous with my singing. I’ve spent all my life overcoming the bad habits that became my voice as a result of the beliefs I took on. That is why I’m able to others to overcome their vocal struggles. I understand completely because I’ve been there!

It’s incredible when you think that the human voice is the one and only natural instrument and yet you somehow think that you have to do something extraordinary to sing? The truth is you don’t need to do anything out of the ordinary to sing your best. And that’s what you are going to learn here on SingLikeYouSpeak.com.

No one understands better than I do your desire to be a great singer. No one has worked harder or been more successful at figuring out how to make the singing process as simple as possible. This is my passion.
